Sort records by featured and then random
Displaying random records is great for variety but sometimes you want some records to be featured and always appear. Dave helps with one line of code in the orderBy statement to do just that.

Have an event page and don't want to show events that have already past?
After an event has past, it would be nice if the event no longer appearred without having to manually hide ir delete it. Greg provides a where statement to automatically hide records older then today.

Multi records: Want listings to link to "some" details pages, but not all?
On a list page of multiple records (news, products, etc), sometimes you want to have the option to link to the detail page, an external site, or not provide a link at all. Tim provides some useful if statements to handle these different cases.
