WYSIWYG not showing

My client has recently ugraded their server PHP version to version 5.6 and in doing so, the WYSIWYG editor appears to have stopped working.

I've been through all other posts in the forum relating to this but nothing has worked.

Can anybody shed any light on this?

Thanks, Paul.

Hi Paul,

I have a few questions that will help me troubleshoot this issue:

  1. What version of PHP was the server upgraded from?
  2. What version of CMSB is your client using?
  3. Can you relay any errors being shown in the browser developer console? (To see this: navigate to a page with a missing WYSIWYG editor, press F12, click the "Console" tab, and then reload the page)
  4. After checking the browser console, can you check the Developer Log page (under Admin Menu in CMSB) and relay any error messages that show up there?

Thanks,

Daniel

Hi Daniel,

Thanks for the response.

PHP was upgraded from v5.4, CMSB 3.13 is installed which was installed after the PHP upgrade.

The following errors are listed in the developer console:

SyntaxError: expected property name, got '{'[Learn More] admin.php:578:4 SyntaxError: expected property name, got '{'[Learn More] admin.php:656:4

There are no recent messages in the CMSB developer log.

Hope this helps!

Thanks, Paul.
