Displaying a single specific article

We have pages we would like to display a single specific article on, not just the most recent article in a given cat, but a single art summary that would be specific to that pages content.

I.E.:

we have a static page for "Company X" with their company info...

under the "Updates" Category, we have different companies listing their Updates but we only want the one for Company X to appear on the Company X page. Not whatever the most recent "Update" is listed under that Category.

Any thoughts?

The companies are not listed in cms builder, just their Update pages...

Heres one of the static pages we're trying to get the Summary on:

This is the CMS "Update" page we're trying to include on the static page:

Hi,

If you are trying to include and run PHP on an .htm page, you will need to have that file extension enabled to run PHP.

Here is a link with details:

You can also check with your host.

Next, to add a specific record to a page, use the Code Generator for a Detail page. Then for "Which Record" choose "Custom: Load record # and enter the record number (see example image).

You can now add any of the publish code needed.

Last step is you can assign that specific record to a user in CMS Builder and limit them to only 1 record so they can login and modify that one when they want to make updates.

Let me know if you have any questions about this.
