Is there a way to create a link to a section within the CMS where I can have it auto sort?

for example.. I have a section in the CMS for registrations.

but i would like a text link that the admin can click on and it shows only the 2011 registrations.

so i can create a text link in CMS.. when you click on it.. it goes to the List but already filtered

Hi again,

If you are using Firefox Web Developer toolbar, there is an option to temporarily convert forms from Post to Gets. This allows you to see the full search query which you can then copy.

Here is an example of one that I did with my local test installation:
http://localhost/cmsAdmin/admin.php?menu=news&_defaultAction=list&page=1&showAdvancedSearch=1&featured%2Ctitle%2Ccategory%2Cdate%2Csummary%2Ccontent%2Ctest%2Cyear_query=&year_match=2011&perPage=25&search=Search&_unused=1&_tableName=news&_advancedAction=
Then I created a new section in CMS Builder with a "link" type.
