Hi,

If you have a field that is being used to enter the year (ex. 2011) for each record, then you can display that year on the editor list page and click Year to sort.

Another method is to use the same year field to search on within the editor list page. To do this you would go to
Admin > Section Editors > Registrations and then click the top Search tab.

Here you can create an advanced search option to search by year.

Do either of these options sound like they would work for you?

Let me know and if you need more details.

Thanks!

Hi again,

If you are using Firefox Web Developer toolbar, there is an option to temporarily convert forms from Post to Gets. This allows you to see the full search query which you can then copy.

Here is an example of one that I did with my local test installation:
http://localhost/cmsAdmin/admin.php?menu=news&_defaultAction=list&page=1&showAdvancedSearch=1&featured%2Ctitle%2Ccategory%2Cdate%2Csummary%2Ccontent%2Ctest%2Cyear_query=&year_match=2011&perPage=25&search=Search&_unused=1&_tableName=news&_advancedAction=
Then I created a new section in CMS Builder with a "link" type.
