Is it possible to set up the login with username and password from a table other than Accounts?
I wanted to merge "accounts" and another table "players"

In the players table I added a field for usernam & password

Thanks

Hi,

Yes, it would be possible to use "players" instead of accounts, however, you would have to go through the plugin and change the queries over to the players table.

Why do you want to use the players table instead? If you need to be able to tell which users are players, you could put a check box field into the accounts table. Another possibility would be to add a list field to the players table, associating a player with an account.

Hope this helps. Let me know if you have any further questions.

Hi,

Since all user accounts will be able to access the front end, you wouldn't need to do anything special to the website membership plugin.

If all you need to do is to control access to cms builder, you can just change the access level for clubs and players (clubs have permissions to certain sections, players don't).

Hope this helps.
