Re: [s2smedia] Member Plugin Accounts

Hi,

Yes, it would be possible to use "players" instead of accounts, however, you would have to go through the plugin and change the queries over to the players table.

Why do you want to use the players table instead? If you need to be able to tell which users are players, you could put a check box field into the accounts table. Another possibility would be to add a list field to the players table, associating a player with an account.

Hope this helps. Let me know if you have any further questions.

well actually i still wanted the accounts section to work.. heres what im doing:

2 types of logins..

1. Clubs : they will have access to cmsbuilder & frontend website

2. Players : they will only have access to frontend website

Its very intricate system we put together for this.. just trying to get this last thing working with the login

Ill see if I can use what you said, and see if it works

Hi,

Since all user accounts will be able to access the front end, you wouldn't need to do anything special to the website membership plugin.

If all you need to do is to control access to cms builder, you can just change the access level for clubs and players (clubs have permissions to certain sections, players don't).

Hope this helps.
