Category Section Editor - Filter Record List By Depth Level

Hello,
Is there a method to filter the cms list view for a category type section editor by depth level? I'm thinking along the lines of the function getCategories with categoryFormat for showall, onelevel, twolevel, as a select option.
Have a client with a very large nested category section wanting to reorder some parent level categories. For now I've just set a Depth search and told them to enter "0" to display parent level categories only.

Hi Steve,
From what I can tell adding a search field for Depth is likely the best existing option for this kind of functionality. As well, since Categories Menus have their own custom functionality in the core for tracking things like depth, they are difficult to modify with plugins. It may be possible with some custom programming - let me know if you'd like to explore that option. I will also make a note of this as a potential future CMSB feature.
