Artman 2 with MySQL 5.6

Hello, I'm sorry to post this in the CMSB topic but I couldn't find a better place.
I'm still using Artman 2 since my site is too big and although I bought 2 licenses of CMSB several years ago the upgrade process seemed too daunting to me.
I was thinking about upgrading MySQL to version 5.6 but first I wanted to know if Artman 2 will work with it.

Hi Sven,
It has been a number of years since I used Article Manager but I do have a test installation of Article Manager on a host that is using MySQL 5.7.
Do you have a staging server that you could use to test?
If you don't have a staging server, I recommend creating one using a sub domain or another domain to create a duplicate of the current site and installation. Then you can update MySQL on that installation to ensure there won't be any issues before updating the live site.
