I need to edit about 10,000 text fields by adding in a number zero in front of all of them.
Example: My text field is now saying 12345 and i need them to say 012345 instead.
Can this be done on the CMS itself or can anyone suggest a simple solution.
If you have experience with mySQL you could run a mySQL command to prepend the field to add 0.
This could be done via phpMyAdmin or using the MySQL Console Add-On here:
Be sure to make a complete backup of your database first. And if you have a staging environment, that would be preferred.
Step-by-step mySQL instructions isn't something we can provide via support. And with no mySQL experience I would strongly recommend against running any mySQL updates on a live site.
We can help make the update through our consulting department. Email the site details to email@example.com and we can provide you a quote.
I just sent an email to firstname.lastname@example.org concerning this. Please let me know if it was received and the next step in getting this sorted out. Thank you.
This is Ross in consulting. Just wanted to let you know I haven't seen your email yet. Could you check on your end to see if it's stuck in an outgoing mail box or maybe just send another one?

Thanks for sending the email again. I got this one and replied to it already.
We can continue the conversation via that email thread.
Apparently some of my emails are not going through. I sent a response. Let me know if you got it. Thank you.
Thanks for the heads up. Looks like our emails are coming through fine. We can continue the conversation via email moving forward.
