Permalink Forward Slash Issue

Hello, All
I keep having problems with the permalinks plugin. Occasionally, it will output a link with a closing forward slash. This can have dramatic and unexpected results!
This: www.mywebby.co.uk/mypage
Becomes this: www.mywebby.co.uk/mypage/
Although the page appears to render normally, all of the relative URLs to ccs files and js scripts are broken.
There does not appear to be any rhyme or reason why this behaviour occurs - but it is a bit of a pain!

Hey Perch,
This sounds like it's happening because the page that ends in a forward slash is using relative URL's for it's CSS and JS files, you should be able to resolve the issue by making your URL's absolute, this forum post goes over this in more detail:
