search section not working

Hi,

I have had a CMS Builder install for quite some time and things were working fine.  I got a report from the client that the search was not working on the backend.  This is to say that the section editor for our listings, on the searching tab, we have in there:

Listing Number|mls|match
_all_

Which in the past provided us with an "advanced search" link at the top of the listings, and then it would drop down and show the listing number box or the all search box.  This part still functions and the boxes appear and disappear if the advanced/basic search is toggled.  The issue is that no matter what you do when you hit the search button it returns all results.  If I select the 5,10, 20, listings per search result that works, but it still will always return ALL listings.  I am unsure how to debug this because I see nothing in the sites error log.

Any tips on how to narrow down this issue?

Thanks

Hi there

Have you upgraded CMSBuilder recently? Has anything about the server changed, such as the PHP version?

Hi,

I have not upgraded CMSBuilder recently and I have not really changed the php version but in a round about way perhaps that is the issue.  I upgraded my OS on my server from CentOS to CloudLinux and it has the ability to select PHP versions based on a per account basis.  So I selected the same version as I was previously running for that account.  The site works except the only thing that we can see if the backend search is not working.  If I change php from 5.2 to anything high I get an error 500 when I try to search.  If I leave it at 5.2 then the search simply does nothing with no error.  Any ideas?

Thanks
