Upgrade from version 1.36 to the latest version

Hi, I have a client running version 1.36 and I need to upgrade to the latest version, is this possible with it being so old or do I have to buy a new license?

That's great, thank you, I was just concerned as it was so old, sometimes you have to upgrade in stages. Thanks again for your reply.
