Changing the Default Algorithm for Password Encryption in Website Membership Plugin

Hello,
Understand that currently the default algorithm for password encryption is sha1 and salt ,
For some reason, Is it possible to change it to des-based encryption and how ?

Hi Tom,
I took a look through lib/login_functions.php and I'm afraid it wouldn't be easy to change this. It would take a few hours for us to come up with a solution for this. Please let me know if you'd like us to provide you a quote through our paid consulting service. If you're doing this on a fresh install (no users created yet) it would be much easier, but still it would take a couple of hours.
