Regarding the permalinks database ... on some installations, I can view/manage the generated permalinks from the CMSB Admin and on others, only the manually entered records are available.  I understand why it would be best to hide the generated permalinks to prevent deletion or edit once the site is done, but during development I would like to be able to delete and regenerate them without having to log in to MySQL admin. I am tinkering with the link generation process and need to delete all the experimental garbage in the table.  There has to be a setting somewhere that handles that because I think I remember Damon saying that he did it on a site he was helping me with.

Hi Ron,

To make the Permalinks table viewable in CMS Builder, here are the steps:

  1. Login to CMS Builder and go to Admin > Section Editors
  2. Find "Permalinks" in the Section Editor list and click the "modify" link.
  3. On the Admin > Section Editors > Permalinks page, click the "Advanced" link
  4. Uncheck the "Hide Menu" checkbox and click the "Save Details" button
  5. Now you will be able to see and edit the Permalinks

After all these steps, you still can't see the Permalinks link in the left navigation, go into the User Accounts and check that your user account is set to have access to All Sections as Editor.

Hope this helps. Any other questions, just let me know.

Thanks!

Cheers,
