Hi,

I bought the cmsbcookbook, there´s a recipe called "A SIMPLE PHP HIT COUNTER" I was wondering if it´s possible to create with the cmsb a unique visitors counter. Is it possible?

Hi Carlos,

I did a quick Google search for unique visitor counter and unique visitor counter in php and found a large assortment of possible solutions.

Many rely on cookies and determine uniqueness based on time intervals but there are other approaches as well.

Give it a try.

Yes, I know Jerry, I´ve been using one, I was only wondering if Interactivetools had a counter of it´s own, something like an add on. Thanks anyway.

Hi Carlos,

We don't have addon for a counter but this forum thread discusses how to add the  counter to the template and also how to have the counter number appear in admin for an article:
