CreatePDF v1.04 Released!

By Dave - September 24, 2013 - edited: September 24, 2013

Hi All,

We've just released a new version of CreatePDF with some minor updates: http://www.interactivetools.com/add-ons/create-pdf/

If you don't already have it, CreatePDF allows you to create PDFs from a html page with just one or two lines of code.

Here's what's new in 1.04:

BUG FIXES & MINOR CHANGES
- Performance: Plugin won't automatically load when PHP script is called from command-line or cron.
- Plugin Menu: "Test Server Requirements" now checks if server has 'noexec' set to disallow running binaries (some cloud hosts do this)
- Instructions: Added more troubleshooting instructions to readme.txt

Mostly just minor improvements on getting PDF generation to work on tricky servers, and identifying problem servers where it may not work.

We've seen some cloud hosts that disallow running binaries such as the one we use to create PDFs.  We've added some code to the  "Test Server Requirements" page to test for that and alert you right away so you know what's going on and can ask the host for options.

Let me know any questions!

Hello!

Great news on the plugin update!
I cannot download the new version from the "My Purchases" section. The latest is still the v1.03.

Thank you!
