Hi,

I want to give certain users access to a specific field in an editor.

However I don't want to make them Admin (don't want them to see all the Admin stuff).

I.e. User account record has setting "Manager".
If manager, then show (or can edit) a certain field in another table.

Is that possible without hacks? :)

Cheers!

Hi,

You could try the "Show/Hide Fields for User" plugin:
http://www.interactivetools.com/add-ons/detail.php?Show-Hide-Fields-For-Users-1036

This will allow you to hide fields from users with certain settings.

Hope this helps
