upgrade from AM2 issue

I have a client site which has run happily for some years using AM2 to serve news to the site.
All was well until about 4 weeks ago when it stopped accepting images and returned an error:
Am happy to upgrade the installation to CMS builder, but just concerned that the same error might occur. Any thoughts on the topic most welcome.

Hi Giles,
Has anything changed on your server recently? I would start by contacting your host to see if this module has been removed from the server.

CMS Builder uses a completely different set of modules/functions, so I wouldn't expect to get the same problem. If you're interested in an upgrade, we can help you move over your information and integrate CMS Builder into your templates. Thanks for your input. I had already been on the case with the hosts, I was just wondering if CMS Builder was reliant on the same modules.
