v2.08 - saving section

Hi,

In the v2.08 install, when I edit a section (section editor) and then save, it stays on the Section Editor page, displaying 'saved' message, rather than returning to the section list.

Is this on purpose?

I tend to find after saving a section I want to be back on the section list. Obviously it's not hard to flick back to section list, but previous versions used to return you there by default.

So just wondering why the change?

:)

cheers

Hi,

I don't have this particular issue, but I did have some problems when I first did a clean install. I have done other clean installs of 2.08 and some upgrades from 2.07 since, and they've worked OK.

Have you cleared your cache after the upgrade?

Have you tried re-installing if that didn't work?

Hey,

Yes that was a change that was made on purpose. A lot of people told us it was annoying that it went back to the Section List screen.
Looks like we might need to make it a setting. =)

Thanks,

There are pros and cons, but I tend to agree that it will grow on you. It is especially useful if you are working on a large record with a lot of time consuming material you wouldn't want to lose. I do incremental saves so it is good that I do not have to re-open the record. But that's just me.

Try it for a while, though. I didn't like it at first either but it's grown on me. :)

will give it a go ;)
