using ip rather then domain name for 24 hours

Hello,
i want to play with my cms now, but am waiting for the dns of my domain to point to my server, i do think it will take 24 hours. In that time i like to play with the cms using my ip address.
Is this possible ????. also when I delete what I created tomorrow can I use my same serial number on my site starting afresh using the domain name rather then ip address.

Hi K,
Yes, there is no reason why you couldn't do this. You can use the same license number as long as that license number is only installed on one website at any given time. By the time I've posted this, however, you're DNS server is probably all set up.
