PDF creator plug-in throwing terminate error

By MisterJim - January 27, 2011

I was trying to use the PDF plug-in on a site today. It worked fine, but then started crashing with this error. Any ideas?

terminate called after throwing an instance of 'std::bad_alloc' what(): St9bad_alloc

Hi Jim,

It looks like an error in the libraries on the server that the plugin uses. If you run the "Test Server Requirements" script in the plugins section, do you get any errors?

If the problem occurred suddenly, it could be caused by a change on your server. Try testing the server requirements and let us know what it said.

Hope this helps.

Hi Jim,

If you could fill out a 2nd Level Support Request we can take a closer look.

Please be sure to include the url to a page where you're experiencing the error.

Hope this helps.

OK. I'll see if I can figure it out first, but if I can't, then I'll do as you ask.
