a plugin for increasing the default number of records displayed

Hi All,

Can anyone offer a plugin that adds a drop down to the Admin General Settings page to change the default number of records shown in the record list from 25 to some other number? (I think that most of us are way over 25 records in many of our tables)

My second choice would be to alter the code for each upgrade on each site (as suggested in post 8433 http://www.interactivetools.com/forum/gforum.cgi?post=8433, but this would certainly be a more elegant solution.

Best,

Jerry

Why a plugin? This feature should be a part of the standard General Settings page. And maybe there also should be an individual override setting for each section inside the Section Editor.

We love the plugins, but if we get a plugin for every little function in CMSB the maintenance of our installations will turn into a really pain..

Hi Jerry,

In order to create a plugin to accomplish this, we'd have to make changes to CMS Builder's code. For now, the best solution would be what was in the forum post.

We can add a way to manage "per page" options to our requested features list.

Hope this helps.
