Linking between multi editor records

Hi
I have several multi record editors setup and I'd like to be able to access fields within these from other multi record editors, for example:
Product category A
A sub record 1
A sub record2
A sub record3
I upload several pdf files to each on of the A sub records. If I set up another Product Category such as:
Product category B
B sub record 1
B sub record2
B sub record3
Is it possible to have a link from the B sub records to the pdf files that I have uploaded to the A sub records?
I don't want to hard code a link to the pdf, I would rather check first to see if one exists and if so then display a link to it.

If you can define a way to determine which A record to find for a given B record, then yes, this is possible. Is there some field that will be identical between paired A and B records, but unique among other A and B Records? For example, do they have the same 'title' or do they have the same 'sku'?
Another option would be to add another section for PDFs and provide a List Field in your A and B records to select the PDF record to associate with your products.
If you can provide more information on your setup, I can give you a specific example that should work for you. :)
