Hi, I need to find a calendar function that I can add to the right hand column my site so I can use the CMSB to add dates/activities..etc.

Any ideas or suggestions?

Thanks!

I haven't implemented this, but I have tested it to work with CMSB and seems fine.

Thanks Tim,

Looks interesting.

I'll take a deeper look soon and we can compare notes.

I wonder if it can pull dates and event info from a CMSB section record?

Best,

Jerry

Yes it can, however it doesn't do repeat dates (or didn't when I last looked, although that was on the to-do list).

Have a look at http://www.interactivetools.com/iforum/gforum.cgi?post=79839;t=search_engine#79839

Go back to April / May in my example and there's some dates displayed from CMSB

Thanks for the suggestions. What I am looking for is a rather small calendar that can fit in a rather narrow space on the website. like 300px square that would have dates listed on the calendar that when clicked would pop up a text area with a description and link to the event page.

I found this script that looks promising, just need to see if I can get it to work with CMSB.

Any ideas?

I'm not sure how easy it would be to integrate that into CMSB...

Why not create a "Calendar" section with a separate list viewer on the page for the 300 dpi square area on the page? Have it display just the dates or dates and short title and when they click on it have the details page viewer appear in a new window?

So I can make this look like a proper calendar with the correct dates (31days) and formatting...etc.

You mean like a click on the date graphical calendar? That's not what I was referring to. I was referring to something like an events calendar where you line-item events.
ex:
June 1, 2010 Seniors Trip
June 13, 2010 Shopping Extravaganza
etc...

Sorry if I misunderstood what you were asking.
