neverRemove does not work

Hi, I am in the process of developing a news section, it is strange, I assume that having a neverRemove checked, the record will show regardless of the removeDate entry. This seems to make no difference and does not override the removeDate entry. I have tested this using standard code generated from the cms with no adjustments. I am assuming I have set up everything correct in the cms. I am working on the latest version of CMSB, could someone take a look at this.

Hi,

Yes, if you check "neverRemove", the record will display regardless of the value of removeDate. Are you sure that this has been checked for all the records you want to display?

Is the page displaying no records, or just some?

If you're still having some trouble, if you could email you CMS and FTP login information along with the name of the page you're using to display the records to jason@interactivetools.com I can take a look at it for you.

Note: Please email this information, don't post it to the forum.

Thanks.

Hi again Jason,
If I set the remove by date before todays date and check the box never remove, all records that this applies to do not show, when infact they should.

I am emailing details to you now.

Thanks

Hi,

neverRemove is a special field used by CMS Builder, so for it to work is has be to have the exact name that CMS Builder is expecting. In this case, the field name was "never_remove". I changed the name, so you shouldn't have any problems now.

Hope this helps. Let me know if you run into any other issues.
