So I moved my cmsAdmin folder to another location in my hosting ftp. I changed all the info in the general settings (upload paths, directory) and everything worked fine accepts photo uploads. like all my uploaded images thru CMSB are missing. I checked the photos paths and they all link to the old location. Is there a way to fix this (to new path) without having to re-upload all the images? Cause they are in order and date sensitive...!!!

Thanks,

Hi,

The best way to fix this would be the follow:

-create a backup of all of your data. This will create a text file in the data/backup folder of cmsAdmin.

-Open this file in a text editor

-Do a Search/Replace All searching for your old path and replacing it with your new path.

-Save this file. Go back to your CMS Builder Admin page and restore the backup you just created. This will update all of your database records with the new path.

Give that a try and let me know if you run into any problems.

yah I figured it out about 2 mins after I posted. yah mac has text edit and you go to edit>find and then its in there.

So I changed everything that needed to be changed and when back to CMSB to restore after I reuploaded the edited file and I get this error.

MySQL Error: You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '/home/content/admin/uploads/-' at line 1

Okay,

what is the path you're trying to use, and what was the old path?

Can you post both the edited and not edited backup files so I can take a look?
