Displaying only a specific record in details view

Ok, hopefully I can explain this right. I created three test database entries within the section I created.
Now I am at the part where you create the code. How, do I edit the code so that it "only" shows record number 3 through the template.

Hi Emerson,
The easiest way is to simply go to the detail page for that article. For example, record #3 would be something like:
yourwebsite.com/detailPage.php?3
Or, see this post for how to use a MySQL "where" clause to pull in a specific page:
