Embed Viddler, vimeo or any other video sharing sites videos

Is there a different procedure for embedding Vimeo, Viddler or Daily Motion videos from YouTube videos? I would like to use Vimeo video but if I follow the same instructions as embedding a youtube video I just get a blank spot.

Nope, it should be the same -- what kind of a field are you copying & pasting the Vimeo code into?

wysiwyg. Well ok so I got it to work but I couldn't simply just click the insert media and then paste the url. I had to click on the html button in the editor and then paste in the embed code.
