Hi

I have a problem inserting TABLES in the wysiwyg editor of CMSadmin (1.20)

A blank white screen appears after clicking the INSERT TABLE icon, and it is not possible to insert a new table.

I use IE7 and have tried on other browsers, problem still exists.

Any help appreciated....

Thanks
Jeff

Hi Jeff,

I wasn't able to recreate the issue and I haven't heard of anyone else experiencing the same thing.

Can you re-upload your tinymce3 directory and all the files within it?

Please post back and let us know if that solves it.

Also, try upgrading to the latest CMS Builder, and testing the issue on the tinymce demo page here:
http://tinymce.moxiecode.com/examples/full.php

If it happens on the tinymce demo page as well check any popup blockers or other browser addons you might have that could be blocking it.

Hi Jeff,

Try out an online demo of the WYSIWYG editor here and see if the issue still occurs:
http://tinymce.moxiecode.com/examples/full.php

If that works for you, download and upgrade CMS Builder to the latest version: 1.28.

This version of CMS Builder includes a recent verison of the tinyMCE WYSIWYG editor (Released 2009-03-26).

Before I upgrade, there is a lot of work gone into the website.

How do I back up the site before I upgrade?

Thanks

Hi jeffbrfc,

You'll want to back up both your database and your files.

MySQL Administrator has a feature for backing up your database. You can get it here: http://dev.mysql.com/downloads/gui-tools/5.0.html

For your files, just download a copy of your website (especially the cmsAdmin/ directory) with FTP onto your computer.

Alternately, your web host may offer a backup service.

I hope this helps! Please let us know if you have any more questions.
All the best,
Chris

Yeah don't forget to backup your database. I accidently deleted my whole database messing around with tables and things [:/] Thankfully my web host had backups of my site. Could of been pretty ugly if the didn't.
