As it looks as though we are going to be changing hosting provider just a quick question, we have always run your products on a linux machine in the past but are now able to choose our hosting platform, for best compatibility with your products would you advise to host on linux or windows.

Thanks

Hi willydoit,

It works on both but we recommend Linux if you have a choice. They're often a bit faster and easier to work with.

Hope that helps!

I also noticed that your Server Requirements say you support any environments, but then only talk about PHP. I would be looking to install this on a Windows server, so if I understand correctly, this would work?

Also...does this include source code for modifications, or not?

Thanks.

Hi there.

Thanks for posting!

We are sort of talking about different things here. When we say we support any environment, that means any server environment. That then means, windows, linux, unix. The PHP part is a different requirement.

The server won't matter but you will definitely need to have PHP installed so that's something to double check with your webhost.

Does that make sense? Let me know if I can go over this in more detail for you :).
