Re: [JH] Add "parent category" field in "sub category"

Hi JH,

This may or may not be possible.

Try adding the parent fieldname (check what it is) the the "Listpage Fields" list like we did in this last post:
http://www.interactivetools.com/forum/gforum.cgi?post=68705#68705

It will either display the parent number of parent name, hopefully the name. Give it a try and let me know if it works for you.

Hope that helps!

Re: [Dave] Add "parent category" field in "sub category"

hi dave

I got an error.
------------------------------------------------------------------
Notice: Undefined index: parent_category in /var/www/vhosts/ourDomain/httpdocs/_pj/tfh/cmsAdmin/lib/menus/default/list_functions.php on line 309 Warning: array_key_exists(): The second argument should be either an array or an object
------------------------------------------------------------------

[font "Verdana"]It display parent number.
I hope it can display parent name.

Because this is custom category.
Hope I can add the filed in CMS Builder directly.

Thanks a lot and have a nice day!

Hi JH,

I can take a look directly if you like. Email CMS and FTP details to dave@interactivetools.com along with a link to this post and the section you want the field added to. (Email, don't post login details to the forum).

Hope that helps!
