You don't mention anything about having created a MySQL database which is something that you're going to need to do in order to hold the data tables that you'll be creating, not to mention the tables required for the program to run.
Also, once you've taken the time to create your database, you'll need to change the permissions on a few of the folders. You can read the installation instructions for which folders need their permissions changed.
Write back if you still have problems after having done all the above.
