Hi,

I'm trying to figure out how to give a user access to just one file.

I have created some wrestler profiles on my site, and want them to be able to add a comment to the end of the page, always keeping it up to date and in character.

I have already written out most of the info as admin, and they would just need to add to one wysiwyg section.

Is it possible to give permission to just one file, after creating it as admin, to somebody who will have a different login?

Hi Moonworks,

You can give someone access to just one record. Here's how you do that.

Under Admin > User Accounts set that users account to:
- All Sections to "By Section"
- YourSectionName to "writer"

Then open a record in "YourSectionName". Click the "Change" link by "Created" and change it their name and save.

Then login as them. They should only be able to see and modify records that they own (that have their name as the owner by "created").

Hope that helps!
