CMS Builder: Closing behavior of "fields-editor" inside the Section Editor

Hi!
I find it a little annoying that the window closes when you click outside the Add Field dialog in the Section Editor. Sometimes in the middle of configuring a new field, I accidently click outside the dialog window and I loose my work.
After some research I discovered that this can be changed by setting "modal=true" in various files inside the CMSB "lib" folder.
I would like this setting to be "true" by default if possible?
