copying inventory records in CMSB to speed up record entry

2 of my clients asked the same question in the last 24 hours (must be a conspiracy)...they want to know, with regards to Inventory Records in CMSB, if there is a way to copy an inventory record and then just change the record number, maybe color, size and price? This way similarly descriptive items can be entered into inventory much faster.

Note that copying uploads isn't supported by this.

Yes, so make a backup copy of the "changed" file and keep a log (custom_changes.txt) with your CMS install so it's easy for you to re-create them if you want to upgrade later.
