geocoder- maps in proximity searches

By rez - February 9, 2011 - edited: February 9, 2011

I am trying to combine the proximity search example with the single maps example. I would like each result in the proximity search to have a map and icon.

Since the single map example seems to only load record 1, I dont know how to bring the required code over to the proximity search and modify it to work.

I'm guessing this is pretty easy but I'm not having any luck since i dont understand everything going on at the top of the pages.

I appreciate some help getting this done.

Hi rez

Thanks for posting!

The proximity search is actually setup to return a list of results so you'll actually want to use the multiple address example, not the single address. That way, you show all the results on your map. The two examples you'll be combining are:

Proximity search with results sorted by distance
Show map with multiple addresses (using Google Maps API V3)

Have a look and let me know how you make out. Thanks!

Thanks Ross,

I want to do that as well.... I think I had that working in fact.
I actually want to be able to do both.

Have a look at the list view here to see what I'm trying to do with a single map per result:

Hi,

Can you attach the .php file you're working with so we can see what you have so far? If you could also give us a URL to where your script is running so we can see what results it's producing we can try to give you some examples.

Hope this helps.
