Shopify or WordPress for our upcoming store?

I use CMSB for most of my ecommerce sites, but have gone elsewhere for specific customer desires. i think shopify is pretty good, but only if your needs are matched straight off. trying to break outside of the  mould with shopify is hard and frustrating.
