Is there any way to remove the text that says These uploads may be displayed or linked on output page. on the uploads section?

Hi there.

Are you talking about the interface? That string will likely be right on the templates and can be removed if you like. Keep in mind that the next time you upgrade, you'll need to make the same changes again.
