Good day all,

I have been battling out this issue with my host for a couple of days. I get the following error when i attempt to install CMS Builder; 'This program requires MySQL v4.1.7 or newer. This server has v4.0.26 installed.
Please ask your server administrator to install MySQL v4.1.7 or newer.'. My host insists that the server we are on runs MYSQL5. Has anyone ever had an issue where this error reported the version on the server wrongly? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. I need to have this installed for a client as soon as possible. Thanks in advance.

Hi jcharlem, welcome to the CMS Builder forum!

We've never seen that issue before, but if you like I can take a look and either fix the software or write a 1 line script that demonstrates the problem to the host so they'll have to fix it.

Just email me CMS and FTP login details to dave@interactivetools.com (email, don't post login details to the forum).

Hope that helps!
