Wondering if you could tell me what Interactive tools uses to publish their newsletter. I am looking for an easy way to publish our church newsletter to our members and have always appreciated the clean look and ease of use that your newsletter brings. Is this by chance done with CMS builder? If so can you elaborate a little as how it is setup.

Thanks
Tim

Hi Tim,

It's on our list to develop a replacement for ourselves but we're currently using a program called Dada Mail. If you google it you can find out more details.

Hope that helps!

Dave thank you for the reply. I am familiar with Data Mail but have not used it. I noticed that it is a CGI Program and wonder how it is on system resources when sending?

Church mailing list is only around 500 members so it would not be a large mailing. Once again thank you for the reply. I'll take a closer look.

I'm not sure how it compares as far as system resources go but we have 50,000+ on our mailing list, so I think 500 should probably be fine, even on shared hosting.

But you'd have to experiment to be sure.

Hope that helps!

I have also used Dada Mail and love it! However, I recently migrated all my web hosting to a company called DreamHost (recommended to me by Dave I believe) ... just found out they have their own newsletter feature built right into the hosting control panel. They call it Announcement list. I'm gonna try it and see how it compares.
