Hi,

Sorry the bad English.

I´m thinking building a website for my country, it´s a social network / wiki style, i will explain.

I want to make a site that people can register and insert touristic information, for example. I want to insert a beautiful lagoon with title, description, photos and Google map location.

This "post" will have voting and comments so that people can right stuff about this Lagoon.

The site will have category inside category with sub category, ex: Island nº1 > Location > Touristic Spots > Nature > Lagoons.

The category are fixed, only the admin can create category, but the users can insert information on these category's. it´s like i say, it´s more a wiki style then a social network.

This is the project, and now is the question. I´m a web designer with no programing skills,

1# Is CMS Builder the best solution for me?
2# Will i have the change a lot of code?
3# CMS Builder has a cache system?
4# Can i build a form to users can register and insert information?

Tks and again, sorry for the bad English :)

Hi rui,

CMS Builder is great at building Content Management systems but it is not a social networking platform and not the best solution for what you want to build.

What you're going to need to do is either find a pre-made social networking software or have someone do the custom programming to custom build it for your site.

Hope that helps, good luck with your site!
