Just purchased CMSB yesterday and installed it today.

Wonderful ! ! I had my sections all set up and ready to go in less than 2 hours.

Now I'm starting to work on displaying everything.

My problem now is as follows: I set up my homepage as a single record and have entered the content for it in the "content" field. I generated the php code and placed it in my page to display it - the only PHP code that I have in the body of my page is the "echo" that displays the field content.

The problem I am having is that I have HTML tags in the content field and rather than interpreting the HTML tags, they are just being displayed.

Am I doing something wrong?

Thanks,
Paul

Paul -

Are you entering your code in the "content" field via the WYSIWYG interface? If so you will first need to switch it to HTML mode (using the HTML button).

My guess is that you are using the WYSIWYG field type and entering the HTML in the normal editing view. What you should do instead is click on the small "HTML" button directly above the WYSIWYG editor and enter your HTML there.

Yes, I was using the WYSIWYG editor.

I clicked on the small HTML, entered my code and......it worked.

Thanks everyone.

I have made the same mistake myself.
