That shouldn't happen. I think it might be a problem with the "allowed charset" specified for one of the fields in that section.

Could you post your section schema file? That's the file in /data/schema/ that's named after your section. Such as /data/schema/article.ini.php

Also, let me know which version of PHP you are running. You can find that in Admin > General > PHP Version (at the bottom).

Whatever the problem, we'll get it fixed.

I just deleted the "section" and re-created it, was fine from then on...
