Hi,

I have a couple of questions about the default date field in the cmsb:

1. How can I change the names of th months in the date picker? I need them in spanish.

2. I want the user of the cmsb to be able to set only the year, without have to set the month or the day. What can I do?

Hi Carlos,

1. How can I change the names of th months in the date picker? I need them in spanish.

In CMS Builder, go to Admin  > General Settings, then scroll down to Regional Settings. Here you can choose the language from the Program Language and WYSIWYG Language dropdown lists. You can also edit a langauge file here by downloading it via FTP making edits then uploading it again:
/cmsAdmin/lib/languages.

2. I want the user of the cmsb to be able to set only the year, without have to set the month or the day. What can I do?

If you only need the year, you could create a dropdown list in your section editor called Year and then enter all the years that you want to make available to choose from.

Let me know if that will work for what you have in mind.

Hi Carlos,

1. You can change the date picker months to spanish by changing the "Program Language" under Admin -> General Settings.

2. By default, you can't have a date field where you only select a year without filling out the day and month fields.  A way to get around this would be to create a "Year" list field where you put in the different year options you want people to be able to select.

Hope this helps
