Error 500 when trying to log in...

Hi,

When trying to log into one of my CMSB installs, I keep getting multiple Error 500 from the server. If I keep spamming refresh I can get to the log in page, then after entering the user name and password, I keep spamming resend, I eventually get into CMSB. After that it runs fine and no more Error 500.

The CMSB ver is 2.12

I have other CMSB running on the same server, and they all share the same mySQL server. Most of them are the same version, and they have no problems.

The server was recently upgraded with new hardware.

Any suggestions?

Hi,

That's a strange one. Did the problem only appear after the server upgrade? Are all the CMSB installations the same version? Have you been able to contact the host to see if they can go through the server error logs to get more information about this error?

Hi Jason,

No idea why but it turned out to be a htaccess file issue. I can see no reason why it should have caused that, but htaccess can be a bit like witchcraft sometimes ;)

Now running a stripped down version and all seems to be fine.

Once again CMSB was not the culprit. I love this software!
