I am trying to customize the templates in artman2 to match what I had in artman1. I created a new template for one category that doesn't list any articles, just displays a message. So I took out all of the includes and was able to publish it using the rule type "a list of articles" but it is still displaying a list of articles underneath my message. How can I fix this? BTW - this is for our intranet so I can't give you links but i attached some images. Thanks! Dana

Correction: instead of the rule type "a list of articles" I meant to say "a page for each article" Thanks, Dana

Hi Dana, Thanks for posting! If you have a publishing rule set up for this specific section, you can prevent articles from appearing there by adjusting the "Limit Results" setting for this rule to "99999 to 99999". You can access this page by going to Admin -> Publishing and then clicking on the "modify" link for this publishing rule. An alternative would be to follow the single page content tutorial for Article Manager here: http://www.interactivetools.com/docs/doc.cgi?/articlemanager2/tutorials/single_page_categories.html Let us know if you have any questions about any of this. ----------------------------------------------------------- Cheers, Jake Swanson - Product Specialist support@interactivetools.com

Thanks Jake. I tried this and it didn't work. I don't know if this matters, but when I went to edit the code I searched for the <hr size=1><br> and it wasn't anywhere in the categoryIndex file. I didn't think that would matter, so I just inserted the code above the corresponding <!--template...> and it did not work. I also tried setting the limit results to zeros and that didn't work either :( I got the error: Limit Results Start Value must be equal or greater than 1! Limit Results End Value must be equal or greater than 1! Am I doing something wrong?

Hi dbenson76, Sorry about that - I didn't realize that the "0 to 0" setting wouldn't pass Article Manager's error checking. Instead, you can try using some unrealistic numbers like "99999 to 99999". Let me know if that works for you. ----------------------------------------------------------- Cheers, Jake Swanson - Product Specialist support@interactivetools.com
