htmlArea Gets its Own Website

We've launched www.htmlArea.com, a new site for htmlArea, our free, open source utility that you can use to turn any <textarea> into a WYSIWYG editor.

There you can find the documentation, the free download, and the message forums for the thriving htmlArea community.

Let us know what you think of the brand new site. Email us about your feedback (or any technical problems you encounter) at htmlarea@interactivetools.com.

Welcome Mike and Ross

I'd like to welcome Mike and Ross to our team of Product Specialists. Congratulations to both of them for successfully completing a hiring process that included our customer service test, three interviews, and a reference check.

First we have Mike, a recent computer systems graduate from BCIT, a technical college in Vancouver. Mike completed his course with flying colours while earning his customer service chops as a sales rep.

Ross also recently graduated with an IT degree. Ross has experience as a freelance web developer for various local companies. He's also worked in the A&W management program, an experience that even included being their "Root Bear" mascot. I doubt we'll be suiting him up in a huge furry costume, but you never know.

I'm sure you'll hear from them soon! But go easy on them while they get their feet wet. ;)

Video Tour for Article Manager

If you haven't seen it, you may want to take a look at our Article Manager video tour. It gives an overview of Article Manager and highlights the main features and benefits of the software.

Although it's mainly directed at new customers as a way of learning about Article Manager, you might find it interesting, and it could be useful for convincing your clients or IT manager of the benefits of the product. You might even see a new feature you'd like to learn more about.

Click here to watch the video tour.

We'd like to thank the following websites for letting us feature their great Article Manager sites in our demo:

New Forum for Listings Manager Add-Ons

We've created a new forum for posting and asking questions about add-ons for Listings Manager. While we can't provide support for every add-on, we wanted a place for users to exchange ideas, solutions, and post new add-ons that they've created. We've moved over some of the add-ons and JavaScripts that were previously in the Listings Manager forum so you can easily find them.

Domain Name for Sale: Mailclarity.com, .net, and .org

We registered Mailclarity.com (and .net/.org) some time ago to use with an anti-spam project. Because we just don't have the time to pursue it right now, we're putting them up for sale.

"Mailclarity" is a great, unique name that's ideal for mail filtering/anti-spam software or services.

A Google search for "mailclarity" produces no other hits, making it a totally fresh name that could be branded as a product or portal.

We're accepting offers. Any interested parties should contact info@interactivetools.com.

New Mailing Address

It looks like our mailing address has changed, and strangely our office hasn't moved!

The building is on the corner of Hastings & Seymour here in Downtown Vancouver, and building management has decided to change the mailing address from Hastings to Seymour Street. So our new mailing address is:

#540 - 333 Seymour Street
Vancouver, BC CANADA
V6B 5A6

If you've mailed something to our old address don't worry, we've forwarded our old address to our new address, so we'll still receive your mail. :)
