2. New Realty Manager Demo - Template Courtesy of Template Monster!
New Realty Manager Demo - Template Courtesy of Template Monster! We just relaunched the Realty Manager demo with a completely new look. The new Realty Manager demo looks just like a genuine realty site to show you what's really possible with Realty Manager.

The template for the demo was provided courtesy of Template Monster. Template Monster has a huge selection of real estate templates ideal for Realty Manager. And when you purchase Realty Manager (or any other interactivetools product) you save 10% on any template from Template Monster.

The demo is recently launched, so if you do notice any glitches please let me know. And as you probably know, that small mansion in the header is mine. I get to return to it every night, and my sports-car collection in is the back. *joking* :)

With Realty Manager on special for the next week, now is the perfect time to buy. Check out the demo to see if Realty Manager would be the right fit for your next project. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to let us know! :)
3. I don't know why you say goodbye, I say Hello. Hello, hello!
I don't know why you say goodbye, I say Hello. Hello, hello! As some of you may have already noticed, we have a new member on the support team. We are happy to announce that Donna Brown is once again a member of the interactivetools.com team. Donna has actually been with us for about three years (2 years as a product specialist and 1 year as the voice of our Article Manager video tour). She’s now back on the sales/support line so feel free welcome her back with a call or email.

"And here's to you, Mr. Stefanuk, We will miss you more than you will know"

There is a little bitter sweetness to Donna’s reunion as it also marks the departure of Cliff Stefanuk. Cliff has been with interactivetools.com for almost 3 years working the phones, email and forums. Anyone who’d like to leave a farewell note for Cliff can use this forum thread.

It was a fun ride Cliff. Everyone wishes you the best and hopefully you’ll stop by the forums every now and then for a chat. :)
4. Coach's Corner - Google-Style "Pagination"
Coach's Corner - Google-Style Pagination Hi Everyone.

In keeping with the age-old tradition of Coach's Corner (well, at least the last five or six months) I've been hard at work on another software tutorial. This time, I'm outlining the steps to get Google-style pagination on Article Manager's search results. When you're done, it will look something like this:

<< 1 2 3 4 5 >>

This will allow people to select a specific page of results they'd like to view and allow them to see how many pages of search results there are (and decide if they want to refine their search before browsing hundreds or results). The steps are pretty quick. With some changes to the Article Manager search results template you'll soon have a pretty slick navigation on your search results. As always, if you have any questions about setting this up, feel free to drop me an email or post to our forum. We could also do the whole process for you through Priority Consulting, so if you need any help just send me an email and we can go over your requirements.

5. Ross Report - Listings Manager and Google Maps
Ross Report - Listings Manager and Google Maps I was out doing "field research" last month but here I am again with yet another Ross Report. This time around I'll be sharing a really neat trick using...wait for it...Google Maps. :)

In this tutorial I'm going to show you how to create a little map with balloons for each listing in your database. You can check it out in this example.

Looks neat eh? Getting the map going is a bit involved, but I have everything covered for you in this tutorial.

Read the full tutorial, and let me know what you think! :)
6. Browser Wars: New Releases Coming Soon?
Browser Wars: New Releases Coming Soon? It looks like the browser war is getting hotter than ever, with both Mozilla and Microsoft jockeying for better positions. In the last month or two both Firefox and Microsoft have released new Alpha and Beta versions, respectively. Who'll be first to a stable release, Mozilla with FF 2 or Microsoft with IE 7?

Firefox has released an Alpha version of Firefox 2. I wouldn't recommend installing it as is, though, as it will overwrite your current Firefox installation. If you do want to take it for a test drive, what you can do is give Firefox portable Alpha 2 a try.

As an early Alpha there are some glitches, so it's really only recommended for the die hards.

Microsoft on the other hand released a newer preview version of IE 7 beta 2.

It's still a beta, though, so it's not totally stable and WILL overwrite your IE 6 installation. Unless you're comfortable with that, I wouldn't install it just yet. :)

As for stable releases, Firefox users who haven't already might want to upgrade to the latest version (1.5.0.1). It includes some security enhancements, improved stability, fixes to memory leaks, and more.
