1. It's That Time Of Year Again
It's That Time Of Year Again Fall (aka Autumn) is my favourite time of year. I know, I know, Summer has its moments, but I believe that Fall is the best! When the weather gets worse, there are tons of great things that come with it: pumpkin pie, Thanksgiving, Halloween, and of course, the World Series (how about those White Sox?). And shortly after Fall comes Christmas. How great is that?

Also, let's not forget, there's NHL Hockey! :)

And for my final bit of fall trivia, you might be curious, just why do leaves change color in the Fall? Well after a quick trip to the mighty Google we learned that leaves are more than just leaves, they're actually "nature's food factories". Really! Read more at sciencemadesimple.com.

3. Web Hosting Partners
Web Hosting Partners When I worked in support (I hope some of you can still remember my top-notch customer service) I was often asked which web hosting provider I'd recommend. Well, to answer that, we've decided to team up with two of the best: Dream Host and Gossamer Host.

Dream Host is perfect if you're looking at just getting started. They have a great service, a ton of affordable plans, and it's all backed by 24-hour technical support and a 97 day money back guarantee.

If you're looking for the best of the best, I have to recommend Gossamer Host. Gossamer Host offers managed and monitored premium web hosting. Their servers were built by web developers, so they'll be a perfect fit for people with the most demanding web applications. If you sign up now and mention ITOOLS in the comments field of their order page you'll receive an entire month of hosting and setup for free!

We've tested all of our products extensively on both. They work great with our software and have an excellent set of features. Check them out. If you have any questions about finding the right hosting provider, just email or call and we'll help you find a plan that's right for you!
4. The Ross Report - Call Me On The Weekends
The Ross Report - Call Me On The Weekends My very own section in the Newsletter. Look out Luke, here I come!

We've mentioned it in the newsletter before, but I think it’s time to mention it again: we are actually open seven days a week for both sales and support. Yes, that includes Saturday and Sunday!

While we get a mad rush of support on Fridays around 2 PM our time (which would be happy hour for all you East Coasters), it can actually get a bit lonely on the weekends. In fact, even our building security didn’t know we worked the weekends; I've been asked for ID, and even had the lights turned out on me! Having the office to myself isn't all bad: there's already a "shoes-optional" policy in the office, but on weekends I've been known to take that a little further. ;)

Not everyone works weekends, but I'm sure many of you do. So feel free to send an email or give me a call (1-800-752-0455). There's someone here every day to help you, even with those last minute changes before your Monday morning launch. :)

So, we're here all weekend, if you have any questions just give us a call!
5. Internet Explorer Developer Toolbar
Internet Explorer Developer Toolbar Last newsletter I talked about how happy I was to see Internet Explorer get tabbed browsing. It was pretty big news considering Microsoft hadn't done anything with IE since who knows when and their closest competitor, Firefox, was running rampant with all sorts of cool and exciting features.

It looks like Microsoft didn't want to stop just there. They've now gone ahead and added yet another cool piece of browser machinery: a developer toolbar. Now if you work with websites (which I'm guessing many of you do) a developer toolbar can be extremely handy.

The new IE developer toolbar makes it easy to outline your tables, view where the links on your website will take you, validate your HTML or CSS, and much more. Many of the things that would normally take several steps (like resizing your monitor's resolution to see how a page looks in a different size) can now be done with the click of a mouse.

(Theo insisted that I mention that there is also an excellent Web Developer Extension for Firefox and Mozilla.)

The good news is, the Internet Explorer Developer Toolbar is absolutely free. Keep in mind that it is a beta release so you're going to have to take the good with the bad. When Damon uses one of the image features it crashes his browser, but then Damon has an extraordinary ability for crashing all sorts of programs.
6. Google Spellchecker
Google Spellchecker Here we go again, more talk about Google. And why not? Every time I mention them they send me a check for $500 (just kidding). This time I want to talk about something I think is really cool. Now I've mentioned the Google Toolbar in the past, but one feature I didn't give enough attention to was its built in spellchecker.

SpellCheck works by searching through any form on a web page and pointing out any spelling mistakes. If you're anything like me, you're probably posting in forums, using a web based email client (like hotmail), or commenting in blogs. I have this nasty habit of making all serts uv speyling misteaks. :)

Since the SpellCheck looks at any text field on a web page, it works great with all of our software. It'll even scan text entered into the WYSIWYG editor. So whether you're adding a description for a house using Listings Manager or you're writing the content for a news article in Article Manager the SpellCheck is perfect for finding those spelling errors.

Depending on which browser you use, you can download the Google Toolbar (which includes SpellCheck) by following one of the links below.

Download Google Toolbar for Internet Explorer or for Fire Fox.
